One payment, one film, no subscription.

These terms cover the Roll app and App Clip, provided by [Legal name], [city], Germany. Using Roll means agreeing to them.

What Roll does

A host creates a film and shares a QR code or link. Guests join with a display name, shoot a limited number of frames, and the roll develops for everyone at the time the host chose — or earlier, if the host develops it early. Guests need no account and nothing installed.

What you pay for

• A film with up to five guests is free.
• Above that, the host pays once for that film, priced by how many people can join it. There is no subscription and nothing renews.
• Moving a film to a larger guest list is a new purchase at that tier's price. An earlier, smaller purchase on the same film is not credited against it.
• Unlimited frames is a one-time add-on for one film.
• A purchase applies to the film it was made for. It is not an account-wide unlock and does not carry over to your next film.

Payment, refunds and invoices

Purchases are made through Apple's App Store. Apple is the seller for those transactions and handles billing, invoices, taxes and refunds; Roll cannot issue a refund itself. Request one from Apple, at reportaproblem.apple.com. When Apple tells us a purchase was refunded, that film goes back to the size it was entitled to before it.

Right of withdrawal

Because a purchase unlocks digital content immediately, the statutory right of withdrawal ends once the film has been raised to its new size, which you agree to by making the purchase. Apple's own refund policy still applies.

What we ask of you

• Only invite people who want to be in the film, and only shoot photos you have the right to take and share within it.
• No unlawful, abusive or infringing content.
• Do not try to get around a film's guest limit, frame budget or reveal time.

We can remove content or end access to Roll if these are broken.

Your photos are yours

You keep every right in the frames you shoot. Roll stores and displays them only to run the film you put them in: to seal them, to develop them, to build the recap, and to let the people in that film see and save them.

A film does not last forever

A film and its photos are kept for 12 months after it develops, then deleted. A host can delete a film sooner, which erases its photos for everyone. Save what you want to keep once the roll has developed.

What we do not promise

Roll is provided as it is. We work to keep it available and to keep sealed frames sealed, but we cannot promise uninterrupted service, and Roll is not a backup for your photos. Nothing here limits liability for intent, gross negligence, injury to life or body, or anything else that cannot be limited under German law.
